Internal Sales Executive

Our Client is a market leading stockholder of pipeline products (pipe, fittings, flanges) who are seeking a highly organised and personable Internal Sales Executive to join their sales team.

The company want personable and friendly salespersons who can learn their product range with help & be developed into senior executives with the company.

Requirements- What we need from you

  • Building relationships with new and existing clients- Your role will evolve around providing the best customer service possible to house accounts to help build long-lasting and effective working relationships.
  • Quoting– Experience of providing fast and accurate quotes to customers would be highly advantageous for this role.
  • Organisation– Your daily duties will involve maintaining effective systems; Reviewing resources and workload; adjusting as necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ability to learn –Successful candidates must be willing to learn and take advice from senior team members to ensure that you quickly pick up new skills which will benefit your career within the company.
  • Communication– Candidates must be able to communicate effectively within a team as well as the ability to communicate professionally via the telephone and email.
  • Metals experience - It would be advantageous if you have previous experience working with raw materials either from a stockholding or engineering perspective. However, this is not essential!


They require a strong account manager to join their commercial team to help service existing accounts and to bring new business to the company through targeting non-spending customers.

Our Client needs someone who is Highly personable, positive and friendly. The successful candidate will proactively work with colleagues to service all areas of the business within a calm and professional manner.

Your workload may fluctuate due to demand so no two days will be the same, and you will do a variety of tasks.

Full support will be provided by the company including an initial training support to get to grips with the companies processes and procedures.

Examples of What You Will Be Doing Right Away
From the moment you start at the Company you will be hands on in the administrative and sales side of the business. You will be working under the leadership of the management team carrying out daily duties which include:

  • Processing orders
  • Receiving incoming calls from customers wanting to purchase material
  • Calling lapsed accounts to reignite/reactivate their spend
  • Quoting orders
  • Chasing orders to gain feedback on the quote
  • Liaising with the warehouse over lead times for orders
  • Variety of administration work (emails, phone calls, paperwork etc)
  • Ensure the computer stock records match physical stock in the warehouse.
  • Accounts administration

Benefits/ Details

  • 30k - 50k (based on experience) – To be discussed at interview
  • Working hours 09:00 to 17:00 - Monday to Friday
  • Company Pension
  • 25 days holiday (excluding 3 days holiday over Christmas and New Year)
