Business Development Manager

We have a requirement for a Business Development Manager who has a proven track record in Sales and is hungry for success. 

Our Client is a leading laser processing manufacturer within the UK and are keen to employ a salesperson who can develop business within the Midlands area.

Requirements- What we need from you

  • Proven Success – Proven sales or business development success in sales. Sales will be defined and measured.
  • Experience - It is essential that the successful candidate has experience of working within the laser industry.
  • Building relationships with new and existing clients­- Your role will be to maintain a professional relationship with customers and ensure they are kept satisfied.
  • Identify new business- Successful candidates must be able to identify key areas of business opportunities within the industry for potential customers.
  • Knowledge of industry competitors – It would be beneficial for candidates to be aware of industry competitors’ prices, services, lead times & machinery.
  • Intuitive- Candidates must be positive and show their own intuitive to work independently to generate new revenue.
  • Organised/ efficient- Successful candidates must be organised and efficient with dealing with customer needs and requests to ensure you deliver fantastic customer service.

Summary

Our client is a leading laser processing manufacturer based within the UK. The company has expanded in recent years with the 4 8KW Trumpf flatbed lasers to ensure they can deliver next day deliveries from their processing sites across the country.

The company needs someone who is highly skilledmotivated and hungry for success. The successful candidate will proactively work to build strong relationships as part of their role within a well-established and fast-growing organisation.

This role is suited to a candidate with Laser experience and willing to work hard in order to make an impact within a growing organisation to take their career to the next level within the industry.

What You Will Be Doing

From the moment you start at the Company you will be hands on in the commercial side of the business. You will be working within a highly skilled and well-motivated sales environment helping to define and generate additional sales activities to maximise the businesses profitability. Your role will involve reporting to the service centre manager.

Full support will be provided by the company; however, no initial training will take place as the company seek an individual with metals experience.

  • Working hours of Mon – Thurs (8am – 4:30pm) and Fri (8am – 3.30pm)
